🛑 Attention!!! At first glance, the poisonous plant can be confused with real parsley (Petroselinum crispum), especially when it is young. A particularly clear feature are the flowers, which are greenish-yellow on real parsley and white on Fool's parsley. The leaves are less curly and have a strong shine on the underside; in real parsley they are dull. The garlic-like smell is unpleasant when you grind it. Real parsley smells completely different. Poisoning occurs because the dog parsley likes to squeeze itself between the real parsley.
The plant is poisonous in all parts. If you eat them, you immediately feel a burning sensation in your mouth, you vomit and sweat, and you experience shock and even paralysis in breathing.
