Preparation:
The oak fruits are gently dried and the peel is removed. You roast them either in the oven or - like chestnuts - (see sweet chestnut) in a pan until they are brown. After they have been ground in the coffee grinder, they are prepared like malt coffee.
Take 1 teaspoon of acorn coffee, add 1/4 liter of water, bring to the boil and then strain through a filter bag. Mix with plenty of milk or cocoa.
